365日24時間稼働している病院の医療活動において、それらの業務を支える効率的な物流体制は不可欠です。
一方、労働力人口の減少に歯止めがかからない中、休日や夜間も含めた安定的な人的物流サービスを維持することが困難になりつつあります。
そんな病院内物流において救世主となりうるのが搬送ロボットです。
ここでは、当院における搬送ロボット導入の経緯を紹介するとともに、病院内物流におけるロボットの可能性と課題について語ります。

和田龍夫
公益財団法人大原記念倉敷中央医療機構倉敷中央病院ロジスティクス部部長
約20年に及ぶ化学メーカーでの物流担当をへて2008年より資材部長として倉敷中央病院勤務。2020年より現職。
