ロボット分野において、センシング技術は必要不可欠のものとなってきている。
その中で、ビジョンセンサが先行する一方で力覚センサの活用はまだまだ余地が残されている。
新東工業は6軸力覚センサのメーカーとして、ただセンサを販売するだけでなくセンサを活用した技術開発に取り組んでいる。
「力が見えると世界が変わる」の事業テーマのもと、大きく2つの方向で事業を展開している。
①ロボットの自律化・・・自らもSIer事業に取り組み、力覚センサデータを活用することでロボットの導入範囲の拡大を目指している。
②力のデータ化・・・力データの活用は自動車や半導体分野のロボット・装置に留まらず、食品、スポーツ分野などでも活用範囲が広がっている。
そんな力覚センサを核とした事業展開の最先端事例について紹介する。

Based on our business philosophy of "giving form and life to materials," Sintokogio has been assisting many manufacturing industries with the establishment of their equipment. Aiming to continue to realize a sustainable society, we will continue to bring together the technologies of our group to work not only on traditional manufacturing sites, but also on new fields that will support the lifestyles and manufacturing of the future. In particular, we will aim to further expand our robot-related business in order to automate and reduce labor in manufacturing sites.
